CRAIG MCKENZIE
PRESIDENT

Bio

After attending Junior college in 1979, Craig opted to begin his career in the local oilfields and he has worked in the oilfield transportation industry since that time. Over the 34 year career, he worked on Production and Drilling rigs for approximately 2 years. In 1981 he hired on with LW Potter as a vacuum truck driver. After LW Potter went out of business he began driving for MP Environmental hauling hazardous waste through-out the nation. In 1987 he commenced work for KVS Transportation Inc. KVS had 12 vacuum trucks and Craig started as a vacuum truck driver working in the local oilfields. In 1988, he was promoted to a Field Supervisor with limited responsibilities over Shell Midway, ARCO Coles Levee and ARCO Kern River. In 1989 Craig started an over the road division for KVS with 6 trucks and drivers. By 1990 the division was the largest in KVS and had over 20 trucks operating in approximately 40 states. In 1991, Craig was promoted to Department Manager with responsibility for 40 trucks. Over the next 23 years Craig promoted from Department Manager to Division Manager to General Manager of KVS. During that period Craig increased sales from $7m to $130m. In September of 2013, when KVS sold, they were operating 420 trucks and approximately 2000 pieces of rental equipment ranging from 500 barrel tanks, poly tanks and eyewash trailers to a variety of roll off bins in the oilfield areas of Ventura, Bakersfield, Taft, Lost Hills and Coalinga. His responsibilities included all Sales, Daily Field Operations, Dispatch Centers and Shop facilitates. Craig served on several leadership teams over the past 20 years. He had direct involvement in Motor Vehicle Safety processes including journey management and DOT requirements, equipment backing and securement policies and in 2007 was certified in LEAN Six Sigma. In February 2014, Craig formed his own oilfield vacuum truck company, CRACO LLC.

JAMES CLAYTON
VICE PRESIDENT OPERATIONS

Bio

Jimmy has worked in the environmental, and oilfield production industry for 20 years. He hired on with Kern Environmental Service in 1995 as a Technician. Jimmy was promoted to Project Supervisor prior to accepting the position of Press Vac Sales Representative for KVS Transportation in 1999. Over the next 6 years Jimmy helped create cost effective tank cleaning methods that allowed KVS customers to develop aggressive cleaning schedules which resulted in increased production. In 2005 after being promoted to Press Vac Department Manager, he decided to follow his passion of vacuum trucks and accepted a position as Dispatcher. Over the next 9 years Jimmy had several promotions leading to his position of Division Manager. He had responsibilities over for trucks and rental equipment in the oilfield areas of Bakersfield, Taft, McKittrick, Lost Hills, and Coalinga. Jimmy had direct involvement with customer scorecards, fatality prevention, and motor vehicle safety teams. In February 2014, Jimmy was invited to join CRACO to develop and manage their vacuum truck production operations.

MATTHEW GRESHAM
VICE PRESIDENT LOGISTICS, IT & ANALYTICS

Bio

Matthew Gresham is charged with aligning technology development with company strategy to enable CRACO to be a leader in the oil and gas field support industry. He helps direct technological innovation across all areas of the company and oversees the integration of new technologies with the proven operational experience of the CRACO team. His understanding of business operations as well as application and analytics development and deployment help him advance CRACO’s business, and the business of CRACO’s customers, through the use of new technology and data driven decision-making. Prior to joining CRACO Matthew held the position as Dispatch Division Manager at KVS Transportation where he led a dispatch department responsible for the planning, logistics, and dispatch operations for the largest oil field vacuum truck fleet on the west coast. Matthew was also a member of a project team charged with the definition and design of an integrated dispatch, logistics, and accounting system to replace all business systems enterprise wide.
